Create event

Click on the Events tab on the left in the navigation bar to access the events overview page. Now press the plus (+) symbol in the bottom right corner of the screen and add a new event.

If no media is available, please upload the desired content. Ensure that the DropCoder has been successfully downloaded, installed, and activated. Note: The DropCoder only needs to be activated on one computer within your DropSign network.

Simply upload the desired elements via drag and drop, regardless of which tab within the software. The transcoder will automatically handle the formatting – you don’t need to do anything else.

Note: You can monitor the upload process and its duration in the navigation bar at the top.

Now select the desired media using the lightning bolt icon and name your event. The order of the individual media within the event can be adjusted. Video segments and orientation can also be selected. Then click save. Media can be added or removed using the plus (+) and minus (-) icons in the upper right corner of the media. Note: Tag your events with tags, to easily filter them later.

Fügen Sie einen beliebigen Player-Namen hinzu und geben Sie den Standort des Screens an. Sie können den Player auch mit Tags versehen und ein Bild des Standortes hinzufügen.

Hinweis: Befinden Sie sich an dem Ort des Bildschirmes, können Sie auch Ihren Standort über den Browser bzw. Ihrem Mobiltelefon automatisch bestimmen lassen.

An event can consist of one or more media objects. Media can have different formats and be combined in any order to create a wide variety of events.

What format should my media be in?

DropSign supports various media formats and allows you to effortlessly integrate videos, images, and animations. Regardless of the media type, our software ensures smooth and optimized playback of your digital content. Thanks to our built-in transcoder, “DropCoder”, you don't need to worry about formatting your media before uploading it to DropSign.

What is a Quick Start Event?

If you don't want to make major changes to your event, you can easily create an event from your uploaded media in the Media tab. This way, you don't have to switch back and forth and can do everything in one workflow.
